AMYOT, Shirley Ann Amyot

Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Vision Nursing Home, Shirley Ann Amyot passed away at the age of 87. Loving mother of Roland (Angela) Amyot, Steven (Tamara) Amyot and Brenda (David) Allen. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy (Jenn) Allen and Timothy (Melanie) Allen and great grandmother of Mazlynn, Nathan, Colton, Benjamin, Brayden and Brooklyn. Treasured sister of Ken Walker and Bob Walker. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her best friend Jackie Santoro and her cat Ben. Predeceased by her parents Norman and Janetta Walker, her brother Jim (Pat) Walker, sister Jane Arnold and sister’s-in-law Lila Walker and Mary Walker. Shirley was a member of the Royal Purple since 1985 and a member of RCAF 1958-62 Left W. (Leading Air Woman). She was also an Avon Rep since 1984 and an avid bowler. We would like to express many thanks to the staff at Residence on the St. Clair, Vision Nursing Home and Bluewater Health Cognitive Care (4th and 5th floor) for the care and compassion they gave to Shirley. Cremation has taken place. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Alzheimer’s Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
