ANDERSON, Gary Craig Anderson

With deep sadness, the family announces the passing of Gary during his second battle with cancer on Sunday, November 23, 2025, in his 74th year. Remembered by his wife Janice (nee. Stratford) of over 50 years. Cherished father of Alicia (Aaron Johnson), Natalie (Daniel Painchaud) and proud Papa of Chelsey. Gary is survived by his brother Grant (Bonnie) and family; sibling-in-laws Margaret, Randy, Patricia, Nancy and their families. Gary was able to connect with birth siblings Bill Merry (Lynda) and sister Linda Clarke in 2019. Predeceased by parents Craig and Wilda Anderson; parents-in-law George and Joan Stratford and by brother-in-law Gary Stratford (Karen). Gary grew up working on the family farm in Villa Nova and did custom farm work with York Farms. Gary spent many years with McBurney Transport and IFS, and was a founding member of ICI Carriers, retiring in 2019. Visitation will be held at the Thompson Mott Funeral Home, 62 Main Street N, Waterford (519-443-5332) on Friday, November 28, 2025 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. with a Masonic service being held at 6:45 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel.
