Anderson, James (Bun) Henry – A resident of Chatham, James passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus in Wallaceburg on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the age of 67.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, James was raised by Daisy Price (d. 1997), Jim Cook, and Jim George. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Rhonda (2017).

Loving father to James Jr., John, Kim, Tina (d. 2016), Steve, and Tyron Sr. Proud grandfather to Jacob, Tyron (TJ), Kaden, Monica, Chelsea, John Jr., Deshawn, Kayla, Wade, Alexandra, and Jesse. Cherished great-grandfather of Kyzynn, Jayce, and Charlotte Mae.

He will be missed deeply by his brothers Craig, Jason, Donald, Bill, Clifford, and the late Arthur James, and his sisters Rachel, Melissa, Jacqueline, and the late Vera.

Friends will be received at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
