ANDERSON, James Walter Scott Anderson

April 8, 1973 - November 19, 2025
ANDERSON, James Walter Scott Anderson

He leaves behind a community filled with lifelong friends, far too many to mention, who were fortunate to know and love him.

Jamie was predeceased by his beloved father James “Jimmy” Anderson; his beloved daughter Brianna Rose; his cousins Mitchell Anderson, David Anderson, Walter Anderson, Jeff Carlson, and Eddy Anderson; and his uncle Robert, auntie Alice, auntie Grace, uncle Fred, uncle Gary, Auntie Irene, Romeo, and Josie.

He will be deeply missed by his loving Spouse Michelle and her children, Nathan, Kaidyn, and Khrystian; his children Shania (Michael) and Tyler; and his cherished grandbabies Lavana, Dom, and James, who meant the world to him. Jamie is also lovingly remembered by his mother, Sharon, along with extended family and friends.

Jamie’s silly and playful personality shone brightest when he was with those he loved and felt most comfortable around, especially his spouse and his grandbabies. He found true happiness in fishing — whether spending time by the water, watching fishing videos, or shopping for more rods and reels. He also enjoyed his lemons, trips to the Las Vegas and BC with his partner, listening to his favourite 80s music, and spending time with his beloved fur baby, Kitty.

He dedicated much of his love and effort into fixing up his parents’ home the best he could, always guided by loyalty, care, and a strong sense of family.

Jamie’s memory will live on through the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the countless stories held close by all who knew him. He will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.

A wake service will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025 beginning at 12:00pm at the Minaki Community Hall. Celebration of Jamie’s Life will be held on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 12:00pm, all who knew and loved him are welcome to attend. Interment will follow at Lake of the Woods Cemetery, Kenora, Ontario.
