CHRISTIDIS, Andrea Maria –    Born June 8, 1997. It is with great sadness and profound loss that we announce the passing of Andrea Maria Christidis on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the tender age of 18.

Beloved daughter of Georgia and Chris and loving sister of Alexia. Andrea’s legacy will be forever treasured as she peacefully makes her way into heaven.

Andrea is also survived by her grandfather Loucas and grandmothers Niki and Eleni.

Andrea is predeceased by her grandfather George.

Andrea was a loving niece and will be forever missed as the beloved baby cousin to Dori, Lena, Costa, Nicole and Loucas and as a highly revered older cousin to Alexander, William, Ava and Samantha. Andrea’s love of life and family has left an indelible mark on all the lives she has touched.

Her life was filled with a passion for reading, travelling, a love of soccer, skiing, swimming and the arts.

Andrea was actively involved with the St. Demetrios Greek Youth Community and had a tight-knit group of friends and an extremely close bond to her extended family.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Centre, 50 Overlea Blvd., 416-423-1000, on Tuesday, October 13th from 4-9 p.m.

A funeral service will be held in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thorncliffe Park Drive at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14th. Interment to follow.
