Angela was the beloved wife of the late Nicola (Nick) (2007); mother of Bruno (Annarosa), Teresa Pierre, Virginia McGarry, Mary Eve (Richard), and Joe; grandmother of Rachel McGarry (Adam Wilkinson), Jennifer Michiels (Ted), Tanya Pierre-Colangelo (Marc), Daniel Pierre, Lance Casagrande (Kim) and Travis Casagrande, and great grandmother of the late Kevin Casagrande (December 4, 2015).

She enjoyed handicrafts and maintained a vegetable garden until age 90. Over the years, Angela was a member of St. Ann’s, St. Patrick’s and Our Lady of Scapular Churches.

In recent years, Angela enjoyed visits from family and friends, reminiscing about her life experiences, feeding the ducks and geese at Dufferin Islands, having coffee at Tim Hortons, enjoying the company of her cat Mimi, playing cards, rereading favourite books, making braid-covered clothes hangers, and picking out just the right brooch to wear with every outfit.

Mamma/Nonna, we will always love you. You will remain in our hearts forever.

A private funeral and burial has already taken place. A memorial Mass will take place at St. Patrick’s Church on Tuesday, January 12 at 1:00 pm.
