CHORNEY, Ann – It is with heavy hearts that the Chorney family announces the passing of their beloved Ann suddenly on December 26, 2015.

Born in Sosice, Zumberak, Croatia, she resided in Windsor, Ontario for many years.

Beloved wife of Walter Chorney (1987) joining hands together in Heaven forever. Cherished mother of Richard (Vera) Chorney and the late William “Bill” Chorney (2004). Loving grandmother of David Chorney, Jason Chorney, Richard Jr. Chorney and Erica Love. Proud great grandmother of Ali, Jason Jr., Adrianna and Matthew Chorney.

Dearest daughter of the late John and Annie Golub. Dear sister of Mary Peris. Ann will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Croatia, Canada and U.S.A.

Ann is remembered for her involvement in the Ladies Auxiliary Croatian Knights of Columbus Kardinal A. Stepinac Council #11774. Ann loved being surrounded by family, escaping in her books and listening to her music.

Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, in the Chapel. Interment to follow.

As your expression of sympathy donations made in memory of Ann to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and the St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
