WHITE, Anna May White

WHITE, Anna May   –  Passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on Tuesday August 1, 2023.

Anna May White, or Ann as she like to be called, is survived by her sons David and Paul; daughter-in-law Claudine; and grandchildren Lucas and Alyssa.

Ann was born in Buckhaven, Great Britain or Scotland as she would say.

Ann was always fond of discussing her Scottish ways with everyone. In addition to raising her two sons, Ann had a career and worked in the non-profit sector with the Big Sisters, the Kidney Foundation, and the Canadian Cancer Society.

Ann always found peace in music and was a member of the DCAT – Drum Corps Alumni and the choir. These groups were a second family to Ann who proudly played, sang, and helped within the organizations as well.

The family will warmly receive friends for Ann’s Celebration of Life at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel Ltd., 1403 Bayview Avenue, on Thursday August 10th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
