SHIELDS, Anne Maarit  –

August 5, 1950 – July 4, 2023

The family of Anne Shields is saddened to announce her passing, on July 4, 2023, at the age of 72 years.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Robert Shields; lifelong best friend, Susan Newell; great friend, Lorraine Diaper; her family; and the people lucky to be part of her life.

She was born in Finland, just before her family immigrated to Canada.

Professionally, she worked as a Darkroom Technician at Kodak and, later, as an Employment Insurance Agent for the Government of Canada.

She loved all animals. Our pets, Foster and Oktober, were closest to her heart.

Robert will plan friends and family gathering for a future date.
