GOLDING, Anthony Reed Golding

GOLDING, Anthony Reed   – Anthony Reed Golding, of Toronto and formerly of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, on Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Michael Garron Hospital, Toronto, at the age of 58.

Dearly loved partner of Shelley Ann Hopkins; and beloved and cherished son of Michael and Janet (Pyman) Golding.

Loved father of Matthew Golding (Mackenzie Carns), Haley Golding (Alex Popa) and Lindsey Golding.

Dear brother of Brenda Louise Golding.

Anthony was born in St. Thomas on January 27, 1965.

He has been a lawyer for thirty years and served as Senior Council to the Ministry of Finance for the Province of Ontario for twenty years. Anthony loved many outdoor activities with family and close friends such as golf, kayaking, going for long walks and especially travelling with Shelley.

A Celebration of Anthony’s Life will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas, on Thursday, June 29th, at 11:30 a.m. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, from 10:30-11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Michael Garron Hospital Foundation or the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation.
