NICKERSON, Anthony Parker ‘Tony’ – (Member Hastings Royal Canadian Legion Branch #106) – At Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, December 31, 2015, Tony Nickerson of Hastings, in his 77th year. 

Husband of the late Helga E. Nickerson.

Dear father of Stephen (Debbie), Leah Nickerson, Monica Nickerson (Mark), all of Oshawa, and Joanne Nelles (David) of Courtice.  Step-father of Kevin Nelles of Oshawa and Kim Nelles of Georgia, U.S.A. 

‘Papa’ will be sadly missed by Stephen, Jeffrey, Stephanie, Brett, Brittany, Brooke, Miranda, Haley, Jenna, Brock and Sydney, and his great-grandson Hunter.  Step-grandfather of Madison, Kyle, Quinton and C.J. 

Brother of Mae Larkin, Sherry Sears and the late Delano, Kaye, Sylvia, Garfield, Darrell, Jennifer and Trudy.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews and his former wife Frances Nickerson, the mother of his four children.

Resting at the Brett funeral chapel, Hastings from 7 – 9 pm Monday. Legion service Monday at 6:45 pm.  Service Tuesday, January 5th at 2:00 pm, Reverend Jamie York officiating.  Interment in the Spring.
