GOLEN, Apolonia ‘Jadzia’ Golen, Obituary

GOLEN, Apolonia ‘Jadzia’  – Passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 surrounded by her loving family in Barrie, ON at the age of 93.

Jadzia was born in Poland in 1922.

She served as a Red Cross nurse during World War II.

Married Michael Golen in Italy and then settled in Canada where she raised five daughters Edita, Margaret (Don Fair), Wanda (Rick Minnings), Eva and Ania (Richard Zawarski).

She was ‘Bubi’ to eight grandchildren Tamara, Mark, Ashley, Kailey (Kervin Lopez), Eric, Kevin, Christopher and Chelsea, three great – grandchildren Makai, Daniel and Anabel.

Service will be held in Toronto, on Thursday, December 31st.
