ARBOR, Paul Mitchell Arbor

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Paul Mitchell Arbor in Ottawa on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the age of 66 years. He is survived by his wife Margaret Arbor (née White), his son Jeremiah Lazore, his step-children Heather Thompson (John), Lacey Angus (Arnold Casey Jr.), Courtney Angus (Jay) and Peter Angus Jr.

He was a proud grandfather to Kiana, Brendan, Brett, Stormy, Leilanni, Lilleigh, Luna, Jay Jr., Jayce, Quincy, Sophia, Elijah, and the Lazore grandchildren, and great-grandfather to Braylan. Loving brother of Dawna Arbor Cook (late Jake). He will be missed dearly by his in-laws Wanda Thompson, Elizabeth Thompson, Lorraine White, Barbara George, Debbie Thompson, Cecelia Leroux, Donna Arquette, Carl Thompson and his beloved cat “Come Here.”

Paul will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Gerald and Rita Arbor (née Oakes), grandparents Mitchell and Theresa Oakes (née Phillips), cousin Kenny “Ella” Oakes, and in-laws Clara Thompson and Minerva Menard.

Paul’s family will welcome loved ones and friends at the Akwesasne Homemaker Center, 1126 River Road, Akwesasne, QC from 1 pm on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025. A Funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 7th, 2025 at 11 am at the Homemaker’s Centre.
