Mario was born in Indiprete Italy but came to Canada at the age of 19. He started working at the Port Colborne Drop Forge where he worked for 45 years. During his career, he started off as a labourer and worked his way up to plant manager.

Mario went back to Italy at 21 to marry his beautiful sweetheart Joanne and they came to Canada to build a life together. He had 2 beautiful sons and 5 wonderful grandchildren he adored and loved more than life itself.

You could always find Mario sitting in his favourite chair in the garage. He loved to cook, bbq, garden and always made sure that everyone was well fed. He took so much pride in everything he did and he did it so well. His home was a place where he welcomed and loved everyone. He showed those around him that love is not measured in words but in the time, care and sacrifices we give each other.

Mario will be deeply missed but will live in our hearts forever.

May you finally rest in peace. We love you!
