Peacefully, surrounded by loving family at his home on Thursday, September 4, 2025, Kerry Francis Armitage passed away at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Rosemary Armitage. Loving father of Jason Armitage (Denise Thomas), Kenneth Armitage and Tara (Jason) Belanger. Cherished grandfather of Eric Armitage. Dear brother of Mickey (Kathryn) Bishop, Murray (Susan) Bishop, Kelley Mills, and Karen Peattie, and brother-in-law of Debbie Bishop. Survived by many nieces, nephews and his cat Milo. Predeceased by his parents Kenneth (Barbara) and Joyce Armitage, and brother Mark Bishop. Kerry’s family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. MacSweeney and the palliative care team, including Bayshore and VON, for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. A burial of ashes will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia, directly following the visitation.
