CLAUSMANN, Arnaud Léon Albert – MCpl. (Retired) The Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa (Duke of Edinburgh’s Own) Afghan Veteran – CSOR – Passed away suddenly on October 8, 2015 at the age of 28.
Beloved son of Dianne and the late Jean-François Clausmann. Cherished and proud father of 3 year old Luca. Dear brother of Aude and Stéphanie (Hubert) and uncle to Arto, Eugène and Lazare Béringer.
Also dear to Luca’s mother, Amanda Laflamme; his uncles Ronald (Linda), Carl, Marc, Andrew and Gary Parsons; his aunt Katherine Parsons; his cousins Kassandra (Francis) and Danika Antille and Katelyn Parsons, as well as, his family in France.
He will be dearly remembered by his comrades-in-arms of the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa (Duke of Edinburgh’s Own) and the Canadian Special Operations Regiment (CSOR) of Petawawa, in addition to many other dear friends and colleagues.
Friends are invited to visit with the family in the Hall of Colours of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre, 280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa, Ontario on Monday October 19th between 12:00 and 14:00. A Memorial Service will then be held in the Sacred Space at 14:00 p.m. followed by the burial of his ashes and a reception.
