ARTINGER, Rosa Artinger

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the age of 99.

Beloved wife of the late John Artinger (1993).
Loving mother of Alfred and his wife Helga.
Cherished grandma of Leanne and her husband Tom Kukla and Lori Artinger.
Proud Great Oma of Jonathan and Amber Kukla.
Predeceased by her sisters Teresa Gross (Gerhart) and Magda Zucker (Fritz).

Rosa was born in Hungary and she immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1954 where she continued embracing her German culture in Canada. Rosa was a devoted member of St. Teresa RC Church as well as a member of German Congregation at St. Mary’s RC Church. Known for her zest for life and her talented baking, Rosa also loved spending summers at the cottage, creating a lifetime of memories for her family that will be cherished forever. She enjoyed socializing while playing bingo and card activities with friends.

Rosa’s family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30AM – 10:15AM on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. A Funeral Liturgy will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, immediately following at 10:30AM. Reception to follow. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Teresa RC Church or the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
