Dorothy Irene (Richardson) Baker

November 22, 1925 – February 28, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Irene Baker (née Richardson), who peacefully left this Earth on February 28, 2025, at the age of 99. She was received into God’s loving arms to join her beloved husband, Stanley Warren James Baker (d. 2012).

A beautiful soul, Dorothy was deeply loved and cherished by her family. She is survived by her son, Bradley Baker (Cathryn), and daughter, Susan Hopkins (Christopher d. 2017). She was a devoted grandmother and proud cheerleader of her grandchildren: Jocelyn Conner (Christopher), Jeff Baker (Jessica), Carolyn (d. 1992), Mackenzie Baker (Devon), Tyler Hopkins (Vikki), and Spencer. Affectionately known as “GG,” she brought endless love to her great-grandchildren: Addison and Avery Conner, and Emerson, Ackerly, and Oakley Baker.

Guided by her faith, Dorothy lived each day with love, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to her family. She taught those around her the values of hard work, support, love, and joy—a legacy that will continue through her family.
