BAKER, John Baker

John Baker of Guelph passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the age of 73.

Beloved husband of the late Kimberley (Woodworth) Baker (April 2025). He will be deeply missed by his mother-in-law Ruby Woodworth and lovingly remembered by his in-laws Karen & Stan Jones, Kevin Woodworth and Verna Dobson, Karmelle and Jim Taylor, the late Kyle Woodworth and Montrose Graham, Kathryn Woodworth and Peter Jones, and Kristy and Dan Clarke.

John is also survived by his brother Steve, sister Lynn, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father-in-law Ray Woodworth, and by his parents James and Kathleen Baker.

Born in Milton, Ontario on June 16, 1952, John and Kim shared many happy years together traveling and enjoying peaceful days at their lakeside cottage.

A private family service will be held. Cremation with burial at Aylmer Cemetery. Donations in John’s memory may be made to the Guelph General Hospital or Wellington Hospice.
