BALLANTYNE, Mary Ann Ballantyne

She has gone to be reunited with her beloved husband Jim, with whom she shared 62 loving years.

Loving Mum to Mae, Derek, and Carole (Bob).

Cherished Gran to Cameron, Avery, Danielle, and to Andrea and Jamie, who predeceased her.

May was predeceased by her parents Andy and Lizzie, siblings Jim and Ann. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family in Scotland and her dear friends in Canada.

She was an avid golfer, dart player, gardener, and a passionate supporter of both the Toronto Maple Leafs and The Glasgow Rangers Football Club. Her kind heart, sense of humor, and love for those around her will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A visitation will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home, located at 847 King Street West in Oshawa on November 12, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Celebration of May’s life will take place on Thursday November 13, 2025 from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family are kindly asking for donations to the Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre
