BALLARD, James P. “Jim” Ballard

Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 10:43 p.m., surrounded by his loving and supportive family.

Jim is survived by his spouse Rita, son James, brothers Phil (Lynda) and Tony, sisters Linda (John), Theresa (Joe), Mary (Gavin), Colleen (Clark), Karen (Rick), and Patti (Jason), and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, as well as his in-law family who offered tremendous support during this time.

Jim is predeceased by his father Patrick, mother Mary, son Sean, wife Diane, sister Helen, and step-father Leo.

Jim embraced a full and active life. His many passions included hockey, karate, yoga, walking, and hiking, enriched by decades of devoted meditation and spiritual practice. His professional life was dedicated to the field of sport management.

Jim’s family is grateful for the medical care and compassion Jim received.

Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Jim’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
