BANTAM, Paul William Bantam
September 3, 1955 - December 2, 2025
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Bluewater Health, Paul William Bantam passed away at the age of 70. Paul was a proud retiree of the Boilermakers Union, where he dedicated 40 years of service. He loved spending time outdoors, especially gardening and fishing, and could often be found enjoying a friendly game of pool or cheering on his beloved Toronto Blue Jays. Paul was the loving father of Shawn (Shannan) Bantam, and the cherished grandfather of Gavin and Emilie Bantam. He is predeceased by his granddaughter Jericka. He will be fondly remembered by his longtime friend, Jan Bantam, and dearly missed by Kathy Shea. Paul will also be remembered with love by his many nieces and nephews. Paul is survived by his siblings Susie (Perry) Cronmiller, Jane (Larry) Quick, Linda Peterson (Barry Townson), Terry (Maggie) Bantam, and Janette Bantam, all of Port Rowan; his brother- and sister-in-law Neil and Laura Mitchell; and his mother-in-law Jean Hamlyn, all of Sarnia. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Kay Bantam of Port Rowan; his father-in-law Roy Hamlyn of Sarnia; his brothers Rock, Frank Jr., and John; and his sisters Ann (Doug) Brown and Kathy (Wayne) Shelly. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held in the spring.
