FOSTER, Barbara Foster   -Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Ian Anderson House, in Oakville, ON.

She will be remembered by her husband of 54 years, Paul; her son, Matt; daughter-in-law, Rebecca; and her three grandchildren, Landon, Grace and Noa.

She will be missed by her close friend and sister-in-law, Jill Taylor; and best friend of almost 60 years, Susan Rowe.

Barbara was sadly predeceased by her son, Jeremy (2018); her loving parents, Pat and Chuck Taylor; and her siblings, Rick Taylor and Steve Taylor. She will be missed by her extended family including her sister-in-law, Wendy Taylor; and Barb’s many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was born in Toronto in 1948 and grew up in Etobicoke. Barbara and Paul met while working at Eaton’s as students and were married in 1969.

She brought family and friends together at their home with her love for cooking and entertaining.

She had many furry family members over the years, Shad, Chuckie, Jessie and Jackie. She also had love for her “granddoggies,” Denver, Ella, Maggie and Luna.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to the palliative care team at Credit Valley Hospital and especially to Dr. Dosani. The family has tremendous gratitude for the loving care they all received from the incredible staff at Ian Anderson House hospice in Oakville. Nurse Lori’s kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.

A Memorial Service for Barbara will be taking place on Saturday, November 25th, at 1:00 p.m., at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville, with a Reception to follow at Rattlesnake Point Golf Club, 5407 Regional Road 25, Milton.
