JACKL, Barbara (nee Rauch) – Peacefully at her home after a long illness, Barbara Jackl of St Bernardin passed away at the age of 73 on October 3, 2015.

Beloved wife of Friedrich ‘Fritz’ Jackl. Loving mother of Wolfgang (Christa), Friedrich (Angelika), Reinhard (Anke) and Erwin (Debbie). Predeceased by her son Alfred. Dearly loved Oma of 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Barbara will be sadly missed by her 2 sisters and 2 brothers in Germany. Predeceased by her oldest sister. Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, Ontario. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 8th at Saint-Bernardin of Siena’s Catholic Church, 119 rue de L’Église Saint-Bernardin, St Bernardin, Ontario from 11 a.m followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
