SEBERT, Barbara Ann (nee WEST) (McCLOSKEY)  –

August 20, 1922 – April 21, 2023

Passed away peacefully, at the age of 100, at The Westbury, Etobicoke.

She was pedeceased by her husbands, Charles D. McCloskey and James O. Sebert. 

Beloved mother to Patrick Dan McCloskey (Bobby) and Susan Ann Lielmanis (Andris).

Adored by her grandchildren, Andra Lielmanis Barr (Micheal), Akselis Lielmanis (Heather), Kersta Lielmanis Kennish (Neil) and Mitchel McCloskey (Talitha); and great-grandmother to Kristopher and Meghan Barr, Andris, Nina and Aidan Lielmanis, Griffen, Kilner and Oliver Kennish, and Haven McCloskey. 

Treasured by Patricia, Erica and Andrew Roberge, and Jim, Wendy, Shannon and Lily Sebert. 

Aunt to all her nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart. Family was everything to her! Barbara/Granny literally saw the world through her rose coloured glasses.

She deeply appreciated sunsets at the cottage, early morning swims in the lake, the changing fall colours, butterflies, Sonya roses, music, and a fun game of cribbage or scrabble with her beloved family. Many thanks to Cece for her love and care of our dear Barbara; and for the support of the staff at The Westbury LTC. 

Funeral Service will be held at Kingsway Lambton United Church, 85 The Kingsway, Etobicoke, on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 1 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kingsway Lambton United Church, where Barbara was a devout patron and passionate choir member for much of her active life.
