It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Lillian was the much-loved wife of the late Cameron Barber (1931–2000). She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Wendy (Darius Sinanan), Doug (Dottie), and Jeannie (Alan Gough); her grandchildren David, Rosalie (Robert Hartley), Natalie, Melissa (Shannon McConnell), Travis (Andrea), Tanya (Mike Baumer), Josie (Jesse Vassallo), James (Debasmita), Jenna (Jessy Walley), and Jason (Kayla); and 18 great-grandchildren. She was a very special Dilah to Georgie and Gwennie.
Lillian will be missed by her sister Edie Alphonse (the late Johnny), sister-in-law Marilyn Barber (the late Glenn) and many nieces and nephews.
Mom has gone to Heaven to join Dad and her siblings Marie Hampel, Beatrice Hampel, Lewis Hampel (the late Dane), Adena Pilkey (the late Glenn), Fred Hampel (the late Ella), Henry Hampel (the late June), and Nora Moreau (the late Andy); and siblings-in-law Winona Heasman (the late Austin), Jim Barber (the late Florence), Bill Barber (the late Florence), Bonnie Solich (the late Tom), Helen Lawson (the late Floyd), Isabelle Milne (the late Garvin).
A funeral service will be held Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan. Gathering from 11:00 to time of service at 11:30 am, followed by a reception and time of fellowship. Interment will take place at Arnstein Cemetery at 3:00 pm.
