BARNES, Isabelle ‘Bunny’ – Peacefully, on Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Bluewater Health – CEE Petrolia, Isabelle “Bunny” Barnes went to be with her Lord and Saviour at the age of 75.

Beloved wife and best friend of Burt for 57 years. Loving mother of Cynthia (Frank) Singor and David Barnes. Treasured grandmother of Lia and Sara Barnes. Dear sister of Joe (Dolly) Phibbs, the late Rolly (the late Dorothy) Phibbs, Vern (Pauline) Phibbs, Wayne (Emily) Phibbs, Trent (Gale) Phibbs, the late Cameron (Sandra) Phibbs, Avis (Harvey) Carter, the late Ruth (Norm) McCready and Donna (the late Joe) Joyce. Remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Allan and Verona Phibbs.

Bunny retired from her job as the main receptionist for Paul Beeston, CEO of the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball team, where she worked for 10 years.

Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line in Sarnia, Ontario on Friday, October 9 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 10 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (cheques only at the funeral home please).
