He was predeceased by his mother, Wilma, and grandparents, Ernest & Beatrice and Robert “Bob” & Madaline. He will be sorely missed by his father, Randy (Donna), sister Caryn (Pat), and his nephews, Christian and Isaack.

He will be fondly remembered by his longtime companion, May, and her daughter, Cathy who was the only one permitted to call him “Bob.”

He leaves behind many good friends, especially Lynn and David. As well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Robert loved his sports, Oshawa Generals, Toronto Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leaf’s, and Toronto Raptors. He was an avid bowler who fell in love with the sport at just 5 years old. He enjoyed the outdoors, road trips, and trips to Centreville and Niagara Falls.

Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Monday, June 2 at 10:00 a.m until time of service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
