BARR, Patrick Glen Barr

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Patrick at home. Loving father of Michael (Kate), Kurtis and Robert (Shannon) Barr. Cherished grandfather to Mackenzie (Meg), Brandon (Kasey), Dane and Violet Barr. Dear brother of Richard (Kathy) Barr and Nancy (Greg) Williams. Lovingly remember by his brothers-in-law Glen (Evelyn) Salter, Art (Lynne) Salter; sisters-in-law Sandra (Rory) , Estra, Ruth, Lorraine and Cynthia Barr and Marilyn Amodeo. Pat will also be warmly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pat was predeceased in October 2024 by his beloved wife of over 50 years Patricia (Salter). He was also predeceased by his parents Harold and Evalena (Mahon) Barr; by his brothers Gerald, Jack, Reg, Frederick and Jeff and his brother-in-law Santo Amodeo.

Pat was an electrician by trade and was always ready to help anyone with projects big and small. When Pat retired from the Kemptville Hospital he had never missed a day of work due to illness.

As per Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Patrick can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home.
