Passed on November 13, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville. Loving wife of John Bate for over 20 years. Beloved mother to Mike (Marry) Glass. Much loved step-mother to Jan (Jim) Cameron, Jeff (Annette) Bate, Todd (Debbie) Bate, and Scott (Susan) Bate. Devoted grandmother to Maddison (Luke Dufty), and Marshall Glass. Adored Step-grandmother to Jarrett (Lisa), Mark (Lissa), Tim (Megan), Brianna, Jenna (Camal), Nick, Taylor, Cory, and Justin. Dear sister to Shirley Severn (The late Dennis) and Brenda Goode, pre-deceased by Alan (Carol) Farrow. Daughter of the late Harry & Leona Farrow. Gwen will be missed deeply by her many friends from numerous clubs and by her many clients. Remembered fondly by all who knew her.
