Wendy Elaine Skreptak Bauer

1953 – February 28, 2025

Passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 72, after a courageous battle, surrounded by her loving family.

Cherished wife of the late Michael Skreptak (2021). Devoted mother to Jason (Cathy), Daryl, and Kathleen (Korry, 2019).
Beloved Grammy to Lillian, Curtis, Mason, Christopher, Logan, Grace (2008), Cody, Alyssa, and great Grammy of Nova-Lynn.
Dear sister of Rick (Cathy) and the late Jim (2024) (Hazel).
Wendy will also be lovingly remembered by her extended family and many friends.

Wendy dedicated her career to supporting families as an office administrator at Eastwood Public School, Anderson Funeral Home,
and Families First Funeral Home, where she worked since 2000. She was a compassionate leader who helped countless families.

A devoted member of Lakeshore St. Andrews and Banwell Community Church, Wendy was active in many ministries,
including ushering, women’s retreats, and Alpha courses. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi,
serving in multiple leadership roles.

Wendy’s creativity shone through her love of knitting, crocheting, sewing, and painting,
which she shared with many.

Visitation: Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Celebration of Life: Friday, March 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM (Family and friends welcome after 10:00 AM)
Location: Families First Funeral Home, East Windsor (1065 Lauzon, Windsor, ON)

In honour of Wendy’s love of vibrant colours, guests are encouraged to wear red.
