BAUMER, Mary Katherine Baumer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Baumer on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 6:32pm at the Huntsville Hospice. Mary fought her cancer diagnosis with dignity, determination and her steadfast faith, since October of last year.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband Jerry on August 26, 2024. Mary will be forever and lovingly remembered by her sons Michael Anthony Baumer (and his fiance Tanya) of Huntsville, Ontario and Matthew James Baumer (and his wife Suzane) of Caledon, Ontario as well as her grandchildren Randal John Richard Murray Baumer (and his wife Esther) and Eric Christopher Baumer, her brother Tony Reitz (and his wife Marilyn) and her sister Rita Brazda (and her husband Tad). Mary was predeceased by her parents Katharina and Peter Reitz, and in-laws Erika and Manfred Baumer.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 28th at Bethel Church, 35 Silverwood Drive in Huntsville. The family welcomes you to stop in between 2:00 – 4:00pm, with eulogies and remembrances starting at 3:00pm. Please feel free to share your memories of Mary with us. Donations may be made to the Huntsville Hospice who cared for Mary with grace and respect
