BEATTI, Michael “Mick” Beatti

Passed peacefully at LHSC – Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Doreen for 54 years. He was a wonderful Dad to Michelle (Tom), Mark (Heather), and Ryan (Jade). Loving and proud Grandad of Christine, Andrew, Jackson, and Charlotte.

Mick will be missed by his brother Ken (Linda), and his cousins from the U.K., John (Suzanne) and Josie (Mick). Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Winifred Beattie.

Mick and Doreen, along with their daughter, immigrated from England in 1977. His professional life included managing PTI and later co-owning BT Executive Suites in London. Mick was a valued member of the London Chamber of Commerce and recipient of the President’s Award for his outstanding contributions, especially to the Membership Services Committee.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff of LHSC – Victoria Hospital and to the team at Princess Margaret Hospital for their compassionate care.

A visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m., with a reception afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mick’s memory are gratefully directed to the Princess Margaret Hospital or the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre.
