BEAUSOLEIL, Jean Marie Beausoleil

Passed away peacefully on January 2 in Oshawa, Ontario. She was born in Penetanguishene, where her deep family roots were formed and her journey began.

A loving and devoted mother, Janet was a proud hockey mom whose life centered on caring for her family and supporting those she loved. She shared over 30 years of companionship with Paul Landry, and she was the cherished mother of three, a proud grandmother, and a favorite aunt to many.

She was the daughter of Lawrence and Marie Fournier, and a dear sister to Margaret, Carol, Michael and Edgar. She was predeceased by her siblings Joanne, Shirley, Billy, Morris, Eileen, Peter, and Linda, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

A dedicated homemaker, Janet poured her energy into her family. She especially loved playing cards with her brothers and sisters—moments filled with laughter and connection. She also enjoyed boating and fishing—simple pleasures she valued before illness limited her ability to do so.

Janet will be remembered for her warmth, her great sense of humor, and her easy kindness. She had a welcoming spirit and a way of making people feel at home in her presence. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
