BECHARD, Marie Eva Shuel nee Bechard

In loving memory, her family wishes to share that Marie passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, surrounded by her family and loved ones, at the age of 88.

Marie was born on January 2, 1937, in Tecumseh, Ontario, to Lida and Donat Bechard. She dedicated her life to raising her family and creating a loving home filled with warmth and kindness. Her greatest joy was her family, and the memories she created and shared with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 34 years, Walter Shuel.

Marie is survived by her loving children:

• Patricia Pischke (Verne)
• arol Fleming-Morgan (Elmer)
•  John Shuel (the late Madeline, Jacqueline)
•  David Shuel (the late Juliana)

She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren:

Caitlyn Kocsis (Kevin), Quinn Pischke (Rebecca), Alex Pischke (Chantel), McKenzie Fleming, Faith Shuel, I Shuel, Jacob Munro and Alexandrea Munro.

She will also be fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren:

Carter Kocsis, Juliet Kocsis, Olivia Pischke, Emilia Kocsis, Georgia Pischke, and Ivy Pischke.

She is survived by her siblings:

Bob Bechard (Anita), Junior Bechard (Linda), and Douglas Bechard (Joan)

She was predeceased by her siblings:

Ronald Bechard (the late Doreen) and Annette Meloche (Floyd).

As per her wishes, she will be cremated accompanied by a small private family event. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
