BEECROFT , Elizabeth (Betty) Beecroft (née Livingstone)

BEECROFT, Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Livingstone) Passed away unexpectedly at her home in Cambridge, Ontario, on Thursday, August 14th at the age of 83. Loving mother of Pam Somers (Eric), Penny Mancini (George), and Martin Beecroft (Leslie Champ). Proud Grandma of Alexandra and Isobel, and special Aunt to Lori Beecroft. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 59 years, Richard Beecroft (2020), her parents, Ezra, Eunice (Jennings), and Lena (Douglas) Livingstone, and her brother, Lloyd.

Bet will be sadly missed by cherished friend and companion, David Perry, and by her siblings Ruby, Ruth, Daisy, Joe, Shirley, Mary, Carolyn, and Gwen. A beloved aunt and great-aunt, and a devoted friend to many, she will also be missed by her grand cats and grand dogs, and all other critters that were fortunate enough to cross her path.

Visitation is at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 3-6pm. Interment will be held at Cowal Cemetery Iona Station, on Saturday, August 23, 2025 11:00am. All are welcome graveside. For those who wish, donations in memory of Betty may be made to organizations working to end heart disease and cancer.
