It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Sam on August 17, 2025 at the age of 65 years. Husband of the late Nadia Forest (2005), Loving and devoted Father to Megan, Nonno to Zayna and Emilio. Predeceased by his parents Giovanni (2005) and Caterina (2010) Belcastro. Cherished Brother of late Domenico (2012), Saverio (Sabe) and wife Cindy, Tony. Son in law to the late Emilio Forest (2022) and Ortensia (2025), brother in law to Flavio Forest (Sue), Sergio Forest (Emily). Adored Uncle to Giovanni, Jason (Melissa), Giovanni Des (Amber), Matthew (Elizabeth), Adriana (Michael), and Stefano (Amanda).

Sam was a great athlete in his younger days playing football and Track and Field, known as a kind and gentle man that would give you his last ten dollars because you needed it more.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Downtown Mission.

Memorial visitation to take place at Windsor Chapel – Central (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7234) on Tuesday September 9th from 6-9pm, with a Memorial Service at 7:30pm.
