BELLAMY, John William  – Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Friday, January 1, 2016 after a long illness in his 72nd year.

Beloved husband of Gwenyth Lynn for 45 years. Dear father of Ryan (Andrea) and Jeanette. Loving grandfather of Lucas Bluhm, Dylan and David Bellamy.

Loved brother of Jim (Fran). John was employed for 28 years at McCormick and Rankin Consulting Engineering.

Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Juravinski and General Hospital who cared for John in the last 18 months. A special thanks to everyone in Garth Trails for all your help, support and love during this stressful time.

Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at BAY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME “William J. Markey Chapel”,  947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton on Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Celebration of John’s life will take place in the spring 2016.
