After a brief stay at Lakeridge Health (Oshawa), with much sadness, Frank (a retired, proud GM employee for over 30 years) passed away peacefully on May 19th, 2025, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Barb for 65 wonderful years. Devoted father to Deanna and Kelly (Larry). Proud and much-loved Gramps to Hannah (Rabih), Laura (Curtis), and Steven (Gayathri), and cherished Great-Grampa to little Norah. Dear brother of Josie (Tommy, deceased), Cathy (John), Ethel (deceased) (Cyril, deceased), Ernie (deceased), Jim (deceased) (Kathy), and Orville (Beth).
Loving brother-in-law to Virginia (deceased), Bev (Al, deceased), Donald (Cynthia), and Elaine (Manfred). Frank will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by many friends, nieces, and nephews. A true jack-of-all-trades, Frank was a master woodworker, builder, fixer of many things, a golfer who could outplay those half his age, and a hunter though he might admit the moose and deer often had the upper hand. Special mention to bowling, since it was the bowling alley where Frank met Barb so many years ago, and an activity that all of his family still love. The family extends special thanks to the nurses, doctors, and staff of the 4th and 8th floors at Lakeridge Health for their exceptional care, kindness, and support. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements entrusted to McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). In memory of Frank, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Online condolences may be shared at makfuneralhome.com.
