Paul was born on February 26, 1947and grew up in the Niagara Region in Ontario.
He lived a life defined by quiet strength, unwavering faith, and a deep commitment to sharing the word of the Lord.
Paul dedicated his life to being a vessel of God’s love and grace through a long and faithful ministry.
He served as Pastor to congregations across Ontario, including Neustadt, London, Eagle Lake, and West Guilford before concluding his full-time pastoral work in Almonte.
Though he eventually retired from full-time ministry, his heart for service never wavered.
Paul continued his work as a devoted volunteer at First Baptist Church in Arnprior and provided spiritual care and companionship to the residents of Island View Retirement Home.
For Paul, ministry was expressed through both word and craft.
A man of immense talent, he used his passions for music, art, and woodworking as instruments of his faith.
Whether through a melody, a canvas, or a finely crafted piece of wood, Paul’s creations were his way of touching lives for Christ and showing the community the tangible beauty of grace.
His legacy of love, support and encouragement lives on in the churches he led, the residents he comforted, and the art he left behind.
Paul will be deeply missed by his family, his many friends, and the communities he served so selflessly.
While we mourn his absence, we find peace knowing he is at rest, having heard the words, « Well done, good and faithful servant. »
