BERNARD, Harry Bernard – Obituary
BERNARD, Harry – We regret to announce the death of Harry Bernard on October 2, 2015 at the age of 82 years.
Harry can be described simply: he was a family man.
Everything he did, he did it for his children and grandchildren; nothing brought him more joy than seeing his family happy, whether it be going fishing with his sons, or watching his granddaughters play ringette.
In his spare time, Harry enjoyed playing cards and he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He will be greatly missed by his children: Carole Bernard spouse of Paul Vallée of Kapuskasing, Mario spouse of Julie Lebel of Kapuskasing, and Marc of Sturgeon Falls; eight grandchildren: Jossé, Kimberly, Jesse, Stacy, Eric, Tanya, Jessy-Ann, and Jonathan; twelve great-grandchildren: Jaymeelee, Mackenzie, Esmee, Sabian, Mason, Sebastien, Alexandre, Daniel, Austin, Amber, Damien, and one on the way; as well as his three sisters: Diane Beaulieu, Anne-Marie Pauzé, and Lorraine Bernard all of Kapuskasing; and one brother frère: Nelson Bernard of Kapuskasing.
He was predeceased by four brothers: Léger, Réal, Ronald, and Ovila Bernard; and five sisters: Irène Demeules, Lili Potvin, Laurette Fortier, Orane Tremblay, and Bella Rodrigue.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th at St-Antoine-of-Padoue church at 10:30 a.m. with Deacon Jean Beausoleil officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to KidSport Kapuskasing would be greatly appreciated.
