BERNHARDT, Frank Stanley Bernhardt

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Frank Stanley Bernhardt on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the Palliative Unit of Brantford General Hospital. Frank was born July 21, 1944, to Evelyn and Harold Bernhardt. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary, son-in-law Jeff Thompson, sister Betty Kempen and brother, Robert. Frank is survived by his daughters, Christa (Albert), Nicole (David); grandchildren, Nyla, Liam, and his brother Alan. Frank will be missed by his nieces and nephews. Frank retired from Stelco Parkdale Works after several decades. He is known for his passion for golf, watching the Blue Jays on TV and winning the lottery. Our dad grew up exploring and playing along the shores of the Grand River in Caledonia and the surrounding area. He loved Caledonia and would share stories about his escapades with his fellow childhood companions. We wish to thank the staff of RVilla, LHIN, CBI, Stedman Hospice and Brantford General Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care for our father. We thank Dr. Andrea East for her assistance. Cremation has taken place and at Frank’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Funeral arrangements entrusted to MILLER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Caledonia (905-765-2712).
