Rao BhaskerRAO, Bhasker  –

June 26, 1942 – October 16, 2023

Bhasker passed away peacefully, and painlessly to the great sadness of his family, friends and those who had the fortune to know him; all of whom he loved.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Hema; his adoring son, Jaggi (Namita); and the great joys of his life, his grandchildren, Vivek, Vinesh and Anjali.

He is also survived by his ever- respected remaining siblings, brother, Vasu (late Erica); sister, Shantha (Sriramulu); brother, Cheemachi (Indira); and his sister, Nimma (Balaprasad).

Respect to his extended family and friends. Bhasker was a simple, kind and spiritually-enlightened being. He embodied humility, love and respect for others.

The world was a better place with his presence, and he will be so dearly missed. He has left a legacy of goodwill towards all, and example of personal peace and happiness.

Pious Bhasker deserves to take his place amongst every heaven of the many faiths he so loved, respected and honoured.

He never preached, but always practised the phrase “Love All, Serve All”.

Funeral services will take place at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home in Markham on Saturday, November 4th from 1 to 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation, his favourite charity.
