DOVE, Bill – (Canada Customs Officer-Retired)

At the Brockville General Hospital on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, Bill Dove of Cardinal, age 71.

Loving husband of Heather Dove (nee Dawson). Stepfather of Tim Gonczowski (Leslie) of Charleyville and Lisa Wicks (Jim) of Cardinal. Step-grandfather of Jennifer Gonczowski (Rob Thornhill), Michael Gonczowski (Sheena) and step-great-grandfather of Brittany, Taylor, Trinady, Kassie, Zoey, Selena, Madison and Melody.

Dear nephew of Lillian Roberts of Morrisburg, Dorothy Merkley of Cardinal and Dorothy Dove of Prescott.

Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Dora Dove, his wife Joan Dove (nee Marriner) and his step-great-granddaughter Payton.

Bill will be sadly missed by his beloved dog Sophie, his special friends Herman O’Connell and David MacDonald and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, 2065 Dundas Street, Cardinal, Ontario on Tuesday, October 13th from noon until time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m.

Donations to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
