BLACK, Donald Andrew ‘Don’ – Of Port Lambton and formerly of London, Don died peacefully at Fairfield Park in Wallaceburg on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the age of 85.

Don is the son of the late John Andrew & Harriet (Bradshaw) Black. Beloved husband of Jane Woolfrey-Black. Loved father of John (Barb), Steven and the late Jeffrey Black (2006). Dear grandfather of Jonathan, Jennie, Jessica and Jamieson. Brother of Kenneth Eliot and the late Roy, Doug and Dorothy Black. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews and his faithful dog Scali.

Don had retired from E.D. Smith Foods and Daytripper Newspaper. He was an avid golfer, curler and he loved horses. Don was a passionate volunteer at SARI (Special Ability Riding Institution) and with Jesse’s Journey.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, Ontario from 2-5 PM on Sunday, October 4th. Entombment to follow in London at a later date.

If desired, remembrances to SARI may be left at the funeral home.
