Born on September 23, 1935, to Matthew and Olive (Morrison) Reaume, Maxine “Max” Blair passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, at Chatham-Kent Hospice.
A loving mother to Michelle Blais-Lloyd (John Lloyd), Maxine will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Shirley Pearson, brother Morrison Reaume, and former husband Ray Blair.

She loved reading James Lee Burke novels, watching western movies, completing word puzzles, and passionately cheering on the Blue Jays.
Known for her love of dogs, her recliner-sharing skills with Jaxxon and Daisy Mae were unmatched. Special thanks go to Mary Beth Cadotte for her devoted care and to the compassionate team at Chatham-Kent Hospice. Cremation has taken place, with burial to follow at a later date.
