BLINDENBACH,Leonard Anton Willem Blindenbach

Passed away peacefully at Marigold Hospice Care, Newcastle, on November 24th in his 79th year. He will be missed dearly by his wife, Helma, and his children Quentin (Cynthia) and Bernadine (Michael). He is a loving Opa to Ella and Cole.

Leo bravely fought a two year battle with Pancreatic Cancer, and spent his last days in the Hospice he was a serving board member of.

Leo was a proud and serving member in the Newcastle Community for over 10 years.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life on January 15th at the Newcastle Funeral Home, located at 386 Mill St South, Newcastle. In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made, on Leo’s behalf, to the Marigold Hospice Care.
