BLOKKER, Bert Blokker

Peacefully on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 with his family at his side, Bert Blokker was called home and is now standing with the saints beholding the glory of God. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Kroes) for 57 years. Loving father of Ken & Shelleen, Mike & Rifka, Steve & Jackie and Wes & Jaclyn. Cherished grandfather of Cody (Rebekah), Brett (Gabrielle), Noah, Sam, Brooklynn, Desmond, Madison (Joe) VanHuisstede, Luke (Rachel Kampen), Robert (Mia VanDyk), Naomi, Joelle, Cameron (Keegan Vis), Weston (Ksena VanDyk), Violet, Georgia, Mila and Peri, and Great-Grandpa to Rory, Kendra, Brooks and Holden. Predeceased by his loving parents Cor & Ann Blokker. Dear eldest brother of John (†Donna), Christina (Herman) Schutten, Gerry (Ricki), Dora (George) van Popta, Lawrence (Geraldine), Henry (Pamela) and Andy (Debbie), and brother-in-law of †Janet (†Adri) VanEgmond, †Gary (Hennie) Kroes, Winnie (Jake) Bos, and †Bill (Irene) Kroes. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews, friends and Providence Church community.

Visitation on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at COVENANT CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 480 Woolverton Rd., Grimsby, where the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 11 a.m. Rev. Jeff Temple officiating. Interment to follow at Smithville Union Cemetery.
