BOJSIC, Hrvoje Bojsic
June 3, 1969 - March 2, 2026
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Hrvoje Bojsic, who passed away on March 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous and hard-fought battle with illness. His time with us was far too short.
Hrvoje was the devoted husband of 30 years to his beloved wife, Vesna. Their marriage was built on love, loyalty, and partnership. He was a proud and devoted father to his adoring daughters, Eva and Klara, and to Klara’s husband, Daniel. Being a husband and loving father was at the center of his life.
A quiet and steady presence, Hrvoje was completely dedicated to his family. He worked hard, cared deeply, and always put those he loved first. He built a respected career in engineering consulting and was known for his knowledge, professionalism, and dedication to his work.
Hrvoje loved astronomy and spent many evenings with his telescope, studying the night sky. He played guitar and was an avid music lover, building a collection of hundreds of vinyl records. At family and friends’ gatherings, he was often the one choosing the music to suit the moment. He enjoyed camping in Ontario’s lake and forest regions and looked forward to summer trips to Croatia. At home, he took great pride in maintaining the family vehicles and keeping the garden and property pristine. He also loved his dog, Medo, a constant and loyal companion by his side.
He leaves behind his heartbroken parents, Terezija and Stjepan; his loving sister, Aleksandra, and his cherished niece, Nathalia. He is also survived by his wife’s family, who cared for him deeply – his mother-in-law, Marijana; his late father-in-law, Mate; his brother-in-law, Igor, and his spouse, Jasna; and his beloved niece, Matea, and nephew, Marko. He will also be remembered with love by his many cousins and their families, extended family, and dear friends in Canada, Croatia, and France.
His loss leaves an immense void in the hearts of all who knew him. The life he built, the love he gave, and the quiet example he set will be remembered always.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Počivao u miru Božjem.
