BOKKERS, Cornelia Hendrika Bokkers

Cornelia died peacefully in her 88th year, surrounded by her loving family. Cornelia is predeceased by her husband Bert, and her daughter, Deborah (Debbie, 1960-1961), her brother Adrie and sister Marian (both in the Netherlands).

Loving mother to 4 daughters, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Born in Goes, Zeeland, the Netherlands, September 25, 1937, she twice emigrated to Canada with her family.

Cornelia was a great business woman and owned an art store in Goes where she also made her own candles including some very large ones for local churches. She loved gardening and her home was full of plants that thrived with her care.

Cornelia and her husband were missionaries in Zambia, teaching the Bible. She loved the Lord with her whole heart and was ready to meet her Maker.

The last 4 years of her life she spent in a nursing home where she developed a number of loving relationships with the nurses caring for her every need and who loved her right back.

Above all she was a great mom. She will be very much missed.
